Pokégods and those stupid little rumours

Pokégods.

What are they?!

They're unbeliably strong Pokémon. Humph, no way. They're just creations from people who think they can fool people and supplying funny cheat codes to go along with it. Well, too bad, nobody wants to believe them.

There's been so many Pokégod rumours floating around about "Flareth" and "Charcolt". Yup. If you check out http://psypoke.com and go to the Games section, to the Rumors section, there's a lot of these codes to get the so-called Pokégods.

The pictures are fake too. It just takes a little picture from the game's Pokédex and splicing them to fool people and cheat codes to make it sound real enough. Then gullible people(I'm not calling you stupid if you did the code^_^) follow the code, and their game is probably spoiled or nothing happens.

Those codes to get "Mew", "Roton" and those fake Pokémon are really fake. Take for instance, this code :

"Buy the Magikarp from the Pokécenter in front of Mt. Moon, and dump into the daycare center until it reaches L50, and fight with it until it becomes L51. Then it will become Mew!"

Pure crap. And those tricks to get Marril(or Pikablu, as they called it) are very pathetic. Not to mention they are so badly spelt...who can read them!?

Even if you have a Gameshark and want to get Mew, don't. I've seen so many codes involving Gameshark to get Mew and a majority of the results are failures, and can even destroy your game. Whilst the non-gameshark codes are probably safe(I don't know. o.O I didn't bother to try them!), they're probably dumb too.

Take for instance, this funny code!

"First, trade with your friend a Pokémon that knows 'Cut'. Then, bring a Pokémon who knows Strength and Surf, and go to the S.S. Anne dock. (This only works if you didn't let the S.S. Anne leave) Then, surf to the right, until you come up to an island and see a truck on it. Use the Pokémon with "Strength" and push the truck. Underneath it's Mew!"

I was playing my friend's game boy and eventually I saw the truck. I pushed it, and nothing happened. o.O So that cheat was utter bullcrap. Because :

1) If the S.S. Anne didn't leave by you not taking HM01, then how the heck could you have gotten to Lt. Surge and Erika's gyms? Their gyms need Cut to get through.
2) Suppose the S.S. Anne left, and that guy's stopping you from going through, right? So what are you going to do? Hack the guy with Cut?
3) The truck is probably a glitch like Missingno!

Yup.

I've seen a couple of websites where they said that in the Japanese versions, when you have collected all 150 Pokémon(which is deemed impossible for me! ^_^), the guy in Celadon Apts. will give you Mew. Although I doubt that is fake, though.

So people, don't believe those codes you see on the Internet. Because if they destroyed your game, it's your loss. *shrugs* But if you *did* manage to make it work, email me and tell me how! *grins*
